"I moved into Blue Haven after I lost my home. I had been a renter for 7 years and they sold the home and I had nowhere to go. I was working but could not afford the local rents. I have 2 children in school and I had never been so scared. I didn't really have family that would help out and they lived in another state. I found a miracle when I was accepted into Blue Haven. I stayed for almost 2 years and then finally got my own apartment and a new job at the same time. We need more options like Blue Haven. I have no idea what would have happened to me if it had not been an option for me."
"My boyfriend and I are not married and we just had a baby. I am 17 and he is 19. We had nothing. Our families would not help, we were living in the car with our new baby. We were accepted into Blue Haven and now have our own apartment, both of us have jobs, and everyone is very proud of us and our families are helping more. Thank you Blue Haven."
